The MGCOOL Explorer 3 is the latest product launched by popular Chinese company specialized in action camera production. The camera features many interesting functions, so to have a quick tour of them all, MGCOOL just released a short and exhaustive Youtube video. Let’s check it out down below.
At the beginning of the video we have a look at the sleek design of the Explorer 3, with the various ports located on the side of the display, plus we also have a look at the waterproof case it comes with.
As we’re shown in the video later on, the main highlight of the MGCOOL Explorer 3 is its native 4K support, thus the capability to shoot 4K videos at 30fps. The video also demonstrates the 2-inch touch display at work, which appears to be quite responsive. The touch display allows you to save time as well, as you don’t have to waste time fiddling with the various physical buttons. In addition to that, the integrated Wi-Fi module helps you to transfer images and videos from the camera to the smartphone.
Gizchina News of the week
The MGCOOL Explorer 3 is powered by an iCatch V50 processor, H.264+ advanced video encoding support and a Panasonic 34112 image sensor. The camera ships with 7-glass sharp lens with 170-degree ultra-wide field of view.
There’s support for slow motion and time lapse videos, EIS, a gyroscope (which make it the first camera to ship with 4K image stabilization) and the ability to capture images up to 20MP. The 30m water-resistant functionality is a great bonus for those who would like to venture deep into the sea.
The MGCOOL Explorer 3 camera is currently available for pre-order on Gearbest for $105.67 until December 31st. Overall a very cost-effective camera if you compare it to something like GoPro’s which are exponentially more expensive.
