First rugged model from the Vernee brand, the Vernee Active is finally out in the presales and from now on to December 18th you can get it in the presales with a $40 discount, making the phone just $279.99.
Vernee Active is a bit of a new take on the rugged formula, with the design gravitating more towards the traditional phone looks instead of the rugged tank rubber design. It’s fairly slimmer and lighter than the ordinary rugged piece and has the fashionable dual 2.5D curve design, but that doesn’t mean they are giving up on the real rugged qualities either.
The back case of Vernee Active is made of Kevlar, making it quite fairly study and scratch or drop resistant. Of course the rugged IP68 certification is also present so the phone is waterproof with up to 30 minutes in 1.5m deep water and 99% dust and silt proof.
