Oukitel MIX 2 is already available on the market for a while and the sale numbers are pretty good. It’s certainly one of the best “MIX” clones out there and the makers are pretty sure also about its camera performance even when compared with the original Xiaomi role model.
The phone features a 21MP main rear camera with secondary 2MP sensor and they chose the Samsung 3P3 IC to be the go-to piece for that. Front camera is then a 13MP one (interpolated from 8MP) and both front and rear have a flash at their disposal for the low-light situations. You can check out the actual camera performance in the following video.
Gizchina News of the week
Oukitel MIX 2 is of course not only trying to score some points with the cameras, but also with the double glossy design with aluminum frame and electroplating craft. And of course some solid hardware featuring 5,99-inch FullHD+ 18:9 full-screen display or the Helio P25 processor with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The flash sales are still ongoing for the 12.12 promo event so check it out on their website.
If you watch the video closely at 0:10 plants photo, you’ll notice that Oukitel uses the classic fake dual camera blur circle.
It is just a blur filter and has nothing to do with advanced software merging two real photos shot with different focus.
Also some other photos, like 0:31 seems hand photoshoped judged by the pixelation on the sleeves.
I liked the low light performance though, if it is real. Users reviews will reveal more.
