Nubia Has Developed A New Technology For Under-Glass Camera

Nubia Z19

Since we entered the era of full-screen smartphones many manufacturers are trying to make the screens larger and to remove the forehead and chin. However, the maximum they could reach is a tri-bezel-less design seen on the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and a few other devices copying this model. As you should know, the manufacturers can’t remove the chin because there are a few sensors that should be placed in the front. One of them is the camera sensor. The same Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 carries it on the lower right corner. It’s quite stylish but not practical. Seems this design will be left in 2017. If believe in rumors Nubia has developed a new technology allowing it to locate the front camera sensor under the display glass.

Actually, we have seen some renders showing there will be Nubia branded smartphone with a comprehensive screen. So it turns out all those rumors and leaks are real. If they are, ZTE will be the first manufacturer to come in with a smartphone sporting a true full-screen occupying the whole front panel.

Apart from this, the spotted renders show the upcoming phone (assumed to be the Nubia Z19) will sport a dual-camera placed on the left upper side. At last, the fingerprint scanner is assumed to be located in the middle. If all these assumptions are true, the Nubia full-screen phone will look like the Essential Phone. But Nubia has been always using better hardware. So it will be categorized higher.
