Oppo has just officially unwrapped the Oppo A73 few weeks after it was first spotted on TENAA. Priced at 1699 yuan (Rs 16,500 approx) , the metal-clad device is immediately available in China where it will face similarly specced devices like the Honor 7X, Moto G5s Plus, Xiaomi Mi A1 and the Vivo Y75. The Oppo A73 borrows the design language of the Oppo A79, but differs slightly in internal configurations.

At 7.2mm, the Oppo A72 is a tad thicker than the A79, all thanks to a larger 3200 non revable battery. It comes with a 6-inch TFT-LTPS 18:9 full-screen display with 86% screen-to-body ratio, 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, and a single camera with a fingerprint sensor at it rear. Other specifications matches what we outlined here before its offical release. At the heart of the device is an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 MT6763T processor clocked at 2.5 GHz coupled with Mali G71 MP2 GPU, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB using microSD card slot. The device uses same 3200mAh battery with fast charge as the Oppo F5.
Elsewhere, the Oppo A73 boasts of a single 13-megapixel primary camera with f2.2 aperture, Auto-focus, 1080p video recording and LED flash on the back , while a more capable 16-megapixel front-facing camera with with f2.0 aperture and no LED flash is provided for selfies.
The OS is Color OS 3.2, based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, while it supports the usual connectivity options including Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wifi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.
The OPPO A73 comes in Champagne and Black colors options and is priced at 1699 yuan (Rs 16,500 approx). The device is immediately available for order in China, with no words yet on availability and price out side of China.
