Vivo Y75 launched in China with ‘Face Wake’


The Vivo Y75 has finally been launched in China after months of rumors and leaks. The Y75 is pretty similar to the Vivo V7 albeit for a few differences. Let’s find out what this phone has in store!

Design

Measuring 149.3 × 72.8 × 7.9 mm and weighing 139 grams, the Y75 features a full metal body. The back houses the square fingerprint scanner and the front is flush with the full-screen display. The Vivo Y75 is available in thre color variants, Rose Gold, Gold and Black. The phone retains the 3.5mm jack on the bottom and chose to go with the micro-USB port instead of USB Type-C.

The Y75 comes with a 5.7-inch IPS LCD display that has a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels, an 18:9 aspect ratio and pixel density of 282 ppi with 2.5D curved glass display. Under the hood lies the octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM which is expandable upto 256GB via a micro SD card slot. The primary camera is a 13MP sensor with an LED flash and the secondary camera is a 16mp snapper also with an LED flash. The front camera features the ‘Face Wake’ technology, with the words ‘Face’ and ‘Wake’ being self-explanatory.

The phone is powered by a 3000mAh battery that supports fast charging. The Y75 runs Android Nougat with Futouch OS 3.2 on top. On the connectivity front, the Vivo Y75 has the usual options, 4G LTE, Dual sim, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. Bluetooth 4.0, GPS+GLONASS and OTG.

Pricing and Availability

The Y75 is available for 1598 Yuan and is currently available in China only.
