In recent times, there have been a couple of leaks regarding the expected Samsung Galaxy S9 and as of now, most aspects of this device is no longer new. However, most of these pieces of information have not been officially confirmed thus anything is possible. A new leak recently surfaced online showing the backplate of the expected Galaxy S9. While this image could be fake, it is quite relevant to point out the observations from it.
This new leak is quite similar to previous speculations. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which is placed beneath the camera as opposed to beside it that was earlier reported. The Galaxy S9 and its larger version seem to have different camera setup. While the S9 comes with a single sensor, the S9+ will sport a dual-camera system.
Gizchina News of the week
The Galaxy S9 could come with 4GB and 6GB of RAM in the S9 and S9+ respectively, however, there is no exact date for the release of these smartphones as of now. The 2018 Mobile World Congress (MWC) is scheduled to hold at the end of February while the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which Samsung usually use to unveil its devices will hold in the second week of January. So far, speculations suggest that either of these events will be used to release these smartphones.
