Huawei Nova 2S Zhang Yixing Variant Launched

A couple of weeks back the Huawei Nova 2S has been announced with a number of astonishing features and a low price tag. And though there are too many key features making this smartphone quite attractive, many focus only on a few of them. Moreover, this phone has been out just recently, but today the company came in with another interesting announcement. Starting today you can get your hands on the Huawei Nova 2s Zhang Yixing variant priced at 3399 yuan ($516) and with a ship date of December 24.

Those who are not aware, Zhang Yixing better known by his stage name Lay is a Chinese singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor. Many should recognize him from the South Korean-Chinese boy group Exo. Anyway, this is a good chance to recall the selling points of the Huawei Nova 2S. The device sports a 6-inch full-screen with a Full HD+ resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio, and it’s covered with a 2.5D arc glass. We can find a Kirin 960 SoC under the hood. This is a 64-bit octa-core chip paired with a Mali G71 Octa-core GPU, 4+64 or 6+64GB memory combinations. But the Huawei Nova 2S Zhang Yixing special edition is packed with a 6+128GB combination.

Of course, the most interesting feature of this phone is the camera. It comes with a dual-camera using 16MP RGB and 20MP monochrome sensors with  f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, PDAF, and 4K video recording on the back. As for the front shooter, it comes with a 20MP sensor (f/2.0 aperture) and a 2MP sensor placed above the display. It’s not difficult to guess this phone supports facial recognition.

Apart from this, the Huawei Nova 2S Zhang Yixing limited edition runs on EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0. And finally, this handset sports a 3340mAh battery and tons of great connectivity options such as 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS / Glonass, NFC, and USB Type-C.
