The rumors that HMD Global would launch a new 4G smartphone soon are getting stronger. Recently, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certified TA-1047 and TA-1060 smartphones from Nokia which are believed to sport 4G features. Now, Bluetooth SIG just certified TA-1047, TA-1060, TA-1056, TA-1079 and TA-1066 Nokia phones. This certification strongly implies that these smartphones will drop very soon although they are definitely targeting different markets and different classes of users. The details of these smartphones and the market which they target are not known.
Gizchina News of the week
Nokia is a worldwide accepted brand thus a simple professional analogy between a region and its preferred smartphone could place at least of these five devices in one continent. The company could release one dual-SIM edition of the forthcoming 4G devices to Asia and Europe while the rest of the world is expected to get a single-SIM edition. Africa, Australia, and Americas will probably get two variants of the phone. From the software description, these smartphones may not run the Android OS as it may come with series 30+ Feature OS like the Nokia 3310 (2017). HMD Global is scheduled to release quite a number of smartphones next year as we expect to see the Nokia 9 flagship, Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 8 (2018) in addition to these five smartphones.
