A sandstone OnePlus 5T variant might arrive in the next month

Yesterday OnePlus shared a video on their Youtube Official channel, showing people’s reaction to a product hidden inside a mysterious box with the Company Logo. Just by checking the video we can see people mentioning a different texture feeling and some even mentions the Sandstone versions of OnePlus and OnePlus 2.

The first OnePlus smartphone to feature a metallic build was the 2016’s OnePlus 3T. Previously the company used a mix of polycarbonate with a Sandstone textured rear. Since its release, the distinct texture feeling of the back was something that highlighted the handset in comparison to the other devices in the glossy plastic era.

As people’s reaction is just teasing we are guessing that this new product inside the box may be a new Sandstone variant of the recently released OnePlus 5T. The option of this being a new Sandstone case is just discarded by the fact that the company already delivered such protective case to the handset.

Currently, the Smartphone is only available in the Midnight Black variant, but there is also the Red and the Star Wars variants, but those ones aren’t being offered worldwide. Assuming that the product inside the box is, in fact, a Sandstone OnePlus 5T we imagine this new variant to go worldwide due to its success among users. Worth nothing to mention that some teasers and leaks also pointed the arrival of a White&Gold colored variant.

OnePlus states that the content of the Mysterious box will be revealed in January 2018. Since there are only two days remaining at the end of 2017 and the new year is just in the corner we expect more details to appear very soon. For now, what you think about a Sandstone Colored OnePlus 5T?
