Really interesting news come in today from phone maker LEAGOO. The Chinese company is indeed working to bring an iPhone X-inspired device namely called LEAGOO S9. The handset will possibly be the world’s first Android device with the top notch to enter the market; let’s learn more about it!
As we can see on LEAGOO’s site, the S9 is shown with a large display, very slim side bezels and the iconic iPhone X notch at the top. Below the image we also find what LEAGOO thinks is “Hot Topic” and well, it’s hard to disagree with them.
Gizchina News of the week
Among the top features we find quick charging, wireless charging, under-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, 4G LTE, MediaTek Helio P40 CPU, either 4GB/6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB or 256GB of storage, and finally Face ID.
So, theoretically, the LEAGOO S9 could be sporting some of the hardware mentioned above, if not all of it. Albeit the under-display fingerprint scanner will probably be tough to implement, let’s give them the benefit of the doubt.
LEAGOO have also setup a web page where you can check out all the info above, as well as leaving a comment with your thoughts for a chance to win the S9 when it finally gets released.
The web site in the url claims that this phone is the first Android with the “notch”. It is the SECOND Android phone.
Apple’s “notch” was an extremely poor copy of the first Android notch: the Elementary, which was announced publicly months before Apple copied it. Search: “Essential Phone is a new flagship from the creator of Android”.

This phone is now available at much reduced prices, months after launch.
that lower bezel is just too much for this kind of design.
