OnePlus Switch Is Here To Help Move To A New OnePlus Phone

Oneplus 5T

Well, with the surge in smartphones even from a particular manufacturer, there is always a very high probability that users will probably want to switch from one model to another. One problem in switching is transferring data such as messages, contacts and the likes to the new phone from the old one. OnePlus recently listed an app for the Play Store which is meant to help users switch from one OnePlus model to another.

Gizchina News of the week

From the details of the app, it is only 8.64MB large and supports running Android 5.0 lollipop and above. This app helps to transfer call logs, contacts, gallery, messages, video/audio files, and apps. The company states that the app is not exactly available for download at the moment but it will be added in the coming days. It’s quite seamless to use this app. All you have to do is to connect both smartphones via Wi-Fi and move preferred data. While the transfer is ongoing, the time it will take to execute the transfer will be displayed and usually, it is not more than a few minutes. For those switching from one OnePlus smartphone to another, you don’t have to worry about your data on the old device. For now, there is no news on the iOS version of this app.

A really good app I must say. Please let us know when it becomes available in the play store.

Not sure about the meaning of the last sentence (unless it is a joke…?)
