Samsung mobile has announced a new budget Galaxy smartphone for the Indian market. Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt, the latest device isn’t entirely a new launch, but a new 16GB storage variant of the base Samsung Galaxy On nxt that was announced back in 2016 and 2017 with 32GB storage and 64GB storage in that order.
The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt 16GB variant is exclusive to Flipkart with Rs. 10,999 tag, but intending buyers can get the device at a discounted price of Rs 9,999 during the Flipkart 2018 Mobiles Bonanza sale from January 3 – January 5.
Aside from reduced storage size, the latest device is virtually the same as the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt 32GB and 64GB storage variants. The device is 8mm thick, has a full metal unibody design and fitted with a 3300mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy On Nxt, unfortunately, boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UI out of the box, and we are currently not sure if it can be upgraded to Nougat or even the latest OS.
Elsewhere, the latest device flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display with an octa-core Exynos 7870 chipset, 3GB RAM and 16GB storage(expandable via microSD cards up to 256GB) under the hood, while a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front-facing camera take charge of Photography.
In a related news, a fresh member of the Galaxy On range of Smartphones is set to arrive India soon pretty soon. The device is said to be an Amazon India exclusive and will focus on design, performance and photography elements.
