World’s First 88-inch 8K OLED Display Introduced By LG

Technological advancements are never ending as there is always one breakthrough or another in close succession. South Korean multinational electronics company, LG, has announced that it had developed the world’s first 88-inch 8K OLED display which comes with 33 million pixels (7680×4320 pixels) which is 16 and 4 times larger than the pre-existing FHD (1920×1080) and UHD  (3840×2160) displays respectively. OLEDs are self-emissive, optimal for 8K panels, and does not need backlights. These abilities make it retain its slim nature and it is not really affected by aperture ratio.
