Recent reports confirm that Xaomi is currently testing the Redmi Note 5 which was previously rumored to be none existent. Although Xiaomi fans have waited so long for this smartphone, they will have to wait a bit longer as the device is scheduled to touchdown in the second quarter of 2018. Reports claim that this smartphone will use the yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 632 processor and this seems to create some sort of anticipation with regards to the performance of this smartphone since it will be the first device to sport the processor.
Gizchina News of the week
In addition to the processor which will clock 1.8GHz, this Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be equipped with a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. This smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM while the internal memory spec is still under wraps, however, anything less than an expandable 64GB storage will be disappointing. In the camera department, we are expecting a dual camera setup like we have seen on most recent devices. Two 12MP sensors will make up the rear camera while the selfie shooter is rumored to be a 5MP snapper. Details of the battery cannot be ascertained for now.
Speculations have it that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will sell for about 1,599 Yuan (approx. $245). This pricing, in all honesty, seems high and anything more than $200 may discourage some potential buyers.
Redmi 5.7″
Redmi plus 5.99″
Redmi note 5.99″
Because 5,5″ 5.7″ and 5.99″ would have made too much sense…
Besides uhans mx there’s no other slim bezel phone of size 5.2″..or 5.5″ in redmi 5 style.
Why does no company realize that the market is seriouly deficient of a small 5″ slim-bezel phone?? Or are they difficult to manufacture yet?
Because most people don’t know how to use a pc, so they do everything on a smartphone! We are just a few asking for a 5″ or smaller…
I never thought of it this way.. Point!
in this price category dual camera is for me senseless.. rather spend money on a better single camera sensor with wider blend.. or use ufs instead of eMmc. that really helps performance wise
