Nubia Z17 Commence Recruitment For Android 8.1 Beta Testers


A couple of weeks ago, Google released the performance of Android 8.0 Oreo relative to other Android versions. At the time, Android 8.0 accounted for only 0.5% of Android’s system but there are numerous smartphone models which are currently working out modalities to port to Android Oreo. Today, ZTE officially announced on its forum that it has commenced recruitment for Android 8.1 beta testers on Nubia Z17. If the Nubia Z17 officially upgrades to Android 8.1 then its overall performance will be improved. However, the official rollout will not take too long from now as the beta testing is expected to last for only a couple of weeks.

The Nubia Z17 was released in June last year and it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, equipped with LPDDR4X memory + UFS 2.1 flash memory. This smartphone is equipped with a 5.5” IPS LCD capacitive screen. In the camera department, it comes with a dual rear camera setup having a 12MP + 23MP snappers on the rear which is supported by a 16MP camera on the front. The lights of the Nubia Z17 are kept on by an average 3200 mAh battery which supports QC4.0 fast charge.
