OUKITEL K10 gets 5V/5A charger, fully charged in 170 minutes

Oukitel K10

OUKITEL is clearly determined to always have the smartphone with the biggest battery capacity currently in the market and the new OUKITEL K10 is the exhibit one for that. The phone is packing huge 11.000 mAh battery and also gets a fresh new flash 5V/5A charger promising to be fastest than ever.

K10 features a 6-inch Incell FHD+ display with 2160×1080 pixel resolution and special prismatic glass shape, the 18:9 all screen design makes it more favorable to hands than its predecessors K10000 and K10000 Pro. On the back, real Australian calf leather, in other words it’s a pretty premium design . The irregular frame design shows simple lines without losing its artistic beauty. And it also carries the new Helio P23 CPU, 6 GB RAM, 64 GB ROM and quad-camera setup.

The massive 11.000 mAh high density battery should be able to last almost a week of normal usage and with new fast charging it will be a breeze to recharge it too. See the video below, by charging the same OUKITEL K10, using different chargers (standard 5V/5A charger, latest 5V/3A charger, and 12V/2A charger) to compare the difference.

Gizchina News of the week

K10 software and structure is exquisitely designed to receive more current by standard 5V/5A flash charger. According to the test, it only takes 2hours and 50 minutes to fully charge 11000mAh battery, while with 5V/3A and 12V/2A charger, it takes up to 5 hours. In structure, OUKITEL K10 owns its special FPC to receive electric power, improving the conversion rate both in software and hardware. With 170 minutes charging, you can use the K10 for more than 7 days.

OUKITEL K10 should theoretically come to the market already this month, but we still don’t have the pricing revealed for this model. So let’s hope it will stay in the classical reasonable OUKITEL limits and it will surely be announced soon on their official website.

My Oukitel K10000 Pro now charges very slow. Like almost two days to fully charge. I sent it to a mobile phone service center and told me it was the charging IC that’s not working properly. I emailed Oukitel’s support and I haven’t got a reply for almost two weeks now.
