Another “Mi MIX 2 budget killer” coming soon with BLUBOO D5

Bluboo D5

Seems like we have another “budget killer” model coming soon and the announced BLUBOO D5 will apparently try to offer a cheap alternative to the design of Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. It’s certainly inspired by that with the trip-bezel-less screen and 18:9 display aspect ratio.

BLUBOO is pretty hush-hush about the exact specs so far and released only very few bits of information about the model. So all we know about the D5 is that it should be featuring metal unibody, 5,5-inch Sharp screen with 18:9 aspect ratio, OTG function and it’s also keeping the 3.5mm audio headphone jack. That’s about it so far concerning the hardware specs revealed and from the picture we can also deduce the phone existing in three color variants – black, blue and red and sporting only single-lens rear camera.

Gizchina News of the week

Launch of the BLUBOO D5 is expected sometime next month and the price should allegedly be under the $100 mark. So let’s hope it will get at least some solid entry-level hardware and not 3G-only junk as the undying MT6580 processor. More information will be surely published soon on the brand’s official website.

You really shouldn’t support a company that puts malware on its phones.

Seeing at how the “D” series of the Bluboo being a 3G phones only. I’m not surprised if the D5 is not a 4G LTE.
