Xiaomi
As most of you will probably know by now, there’s really no weekly rendezvous without some sweet Xiaomi leaks and rumors. The company started the new year releasing some shockingly good sale numbers (from Q3 2017) and promised to be keeping the same strategy in 2018, focusing on innovation and quality. Where we’re mostly going to see this approach is on the Xiaomi Mi 7, which is said to be coming with a Snapdragon 845, a full screen design, wireless charging and more.
More leaks come from the Redmi Note 5 front as well with some images that allegedly portray the upcoming budget king.
Android Go
Staying in the budget area, Google announced to be partnering up with Indian smartphone manufacturers to create devices running Android Go, a lite OS based on Android Oreo. This lighter system will run smoothly on less capable hardware, thus reducing the price of the phone to around $30.
Nokia
After weeks of rumors, Nokia finally announced the Nokia 6 2018 edition. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, 4GB of RAM and other interesting specs, including Dual-Sight technology. Click here to learn more about it.
