Baidu is doing its best to enter the smart home industry. It has announced about its cooperation with Xiaomi and Qualcomm. This is handy for all three companies. Baidu is the third most valuable publicly traded Chinese company with a huge focus on technology, while Qualcomm is the most popular chip maker in the world. As for Xiaomi, it is the fastest growing startup with tons of innovations and products designed for all cases of life. That’s why this cooperation will bring too many goodies to the market soon. The first results can be assessed even now, as Baidu has announced three new smart home products in face of the Sengled Smart Lamp Speaker, VS1 Smart Video Speaker, and popln Aladdin Projector Lamp.
All three models were introduced today at CES 2018. And they all run on Baidu’s own DuerOS 2.0 AI software. As the company claims, this OS has become China’s leading interactive ecosystem allowing users to control smart home appliances via voice commands.
