The sensor shine light on a user’s finger when it makes contact with the screen which then detects the user’s fingerprint area, the fingerprint sensor identifies the fingerprint through the OLED screen and unlocks the phone if it matches the data stored on the phone.

Doogee is also believed to be working on Smartphone (Dogee V) with the same in-display fingerprint scanner. The device is rumored to feature an iPhone X like 6.2 inch display with a notch on the top.
