We reported earlier in December that Alcatel was in for an overhaul of its smartphone product lineup. The TCL-backed brand will introduce the Alcatel 1X, 3, 3C, 3V, 3X and 5 in a new series of phones this year. We’ve just been able to lay our hands on leaked images of one of them, the Alcatel 3C. We earlier reported that the Alcatel 3C might be the cheapest of them. For a cheap phone, the leaked images show a fairly good front panel with an 18:9 aspect ratio. According to the leakster, these are press renders of the Gold, Blue and Black version of the upcoming device.
Gizchina News of the week
According to info that’s floating around, the Alcatel 3C will possess a 6-inch HD+ display encased in a polycarbonate chassis and a metal finish. Being one of the cheapest in the portfolio, it is expected to rock a MediaTek MT8321 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of expandable storage. Potential buyers can also expect an 8 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera on the phone. The fingerprint scanner is visible in the presser as is the single rear photo snapper. The Alcatel 3C will run Android Nougat out of the box powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.
Further, the new Alcatel lineup including the Alcatel 3C is expected to be introduced at the ongoing CES 2018. As for the price, the phone should see $120 price tag printed on its box.
