Samsung has started rolling out what could be the last Android Oreo beta update to the Galaxy S8/S8 + twins in India. The update tipping the scales at around 600 MB is reported in India, although other countries that come in the first and second beta phase should see it soon as well. These countries include South Korea, Great Britain, USA, Germany, France, Spain, and Poland.
Gizchina News of the week
Samsung has already declared January 15 as the deadline for the Oreo beta program on these two devices. Considering the patch is reportedly stable and contains few bugs, we pretty much expect a stable build before the end of January. As for the patch, it arrives with build number ZRA5 and includes the January 2018 security patch. The update also has a lengthy list of bug fixes including the phone freezing issues. We’ll leave the images of the full changelog if you want to check them all out.
As usual, if you haven’t got the update, you can go to the Settings > Software update > menus and search manually for the same. Also, do check if you have enough storage, sufficient charge and backup of vital data before hitting that update button.
