The latest Vernee Active rugged phone is actually selling very well and it’s currently priced $279.99. The phone does not only sport a fashionable design, but comes with flagship level configuration as well. What’s more surprising though, is the great endurance it provides under use, which we can somewhat see in the video below:
The Vernee Active packs a big 4200mAh battery to bring the long autonomy we see in the video. It boasts a higher performance and lower consumption compared to other rugged phones thanks Helio P25 Octa-core processor under the hood. The VOS system based on Android 7.1 then optimizes power consumption furthermore to provide a great battery life. In addition to that, the Vernee Active is said to receive an update to Android 8.1 via OTA in the future.

According to the company, in real tests, the Vernee Active can last for 2 days of average use and 58 hours of talk time. From the pull-down menu it’s possible to turn on the ultra power-saving mode to better manage apps in the background. In this mode the Active can extend its autonomy to 3.5 days of use and 9 days of standby. The Vernee Active comes with an USB Type-C and supports 9V/2A fast charging technology; it only takes 130 minutes to fully charge the phone.
To make it more convenient when operating, Vernee has added a Smart Key in the Active. Simply press the power button and there will be a round shaped short-cut menu that pops up. It’s a creative and easy to use feature to make the Active standout among other rugged phones.
