The Xiaomi Mi 7, in the past few days, has become a major subject in the rumor mill. The smartphone, though not officially confirmed is set to feature the under-display fingerprint scanner and will be unveiled at the upcoming MWC 2018. Now, fresh information from China suggests there is a second Xiaomi Phone in the making.
The latest information which may and may not be true suggest Xiaomi will be launching a revised version of the Xiaomi Mi mix 2 later on at the MWC. The revised version according to reports is codenamed Polaris but will be marketed as the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S.

If the report is true, then the Xiaomi mix 2S will feature thin-bezel display panel with room for frontal notch equipped with a facial recognition sensor, similar to the one likely to feature on the rumored Moto X5 and on the iPhone X.
Furthermore, the report specifies that the device will likely use the latest Snapdragon 845 SoC with 6 GB of RAM, while the rear is expected to be adorned with a dual camera setup featuring a 12-megapixel RGB sensor and a 12-megapixel monochrome sensor. Other key specs including the battery capacity, storage options as well as Android OS are yet to be revealed, however, the report claims the device will cost 3,000 Yuan (~$466).
