LG’s 27UK650-W 4K Monitor Supports AMD FreeSync


South Korea’s LG Electronics announced the release of the 27UK650-W 4K monitor which supports AMD FreeSync. The 27UK650-W displays feature a 4K resolution IPS panel with a regular 16:9 aspect ratio, 1000:1 static contrast ratio, and a maximum brightness of 350cd/m².  It also comes with the latest HDR 10 technology. HDR 10 refers to a technology that uses 10-bit color depth and 2020 color space to provide more range of brightness and image detail through hardware support and software optimization that more closely reflect the real world than HDR-synthesized photos.

Also, the 27UK650-W displays have a sRGB gamut of 99% coverage and a 5ms screen response time. This provides a smoother gaming experience with AMD FreeSync enabled. This monitor is equipped with two HDMI, a DisplayPort, and the rear uses the traditional a white and gray design. This monitor will be listed on January 26, with a $529 price tag (about 3338 yuan).
