Android 8.0 Oreo To Arrive LG G6 In Europe Soon

Android Oreo has been rolling out to different devices since it was released last year. In the Middle East region, LG G6 will receive the Oreo update next month as confirmed by LG’s customer service. However, users with the smartphone in the US and Europe will have to wait a bit longer. Information from LG Italy says that Android Oreo update will arrive the G6 within the first half of this year. This suggests that we are expecting to see this update on or before June 2018.

However, the period of arrival of this update has been narrowed by LG Italy official Twitter handle which says that Android Oreo update is scheduled to arrive LG G6 units in Europe by the second quarter of 2018. This means that European users will have to wait until April/May at the earliest for the update. As of now, there is no news regarding when this update will be released to LG G6 units in the US. It might arrive at the same time with the European units but this is just an assumption as nothing has been confirmed.
