Just yesterday we found out that Chinese phone maker – Meiigoo – is working on their next big hit named Meiigoo Mate10. As the name suggests, the Meiigoo Mate10 will be inspired by the Huawei Mate10, becoming a much cheaper alternative to the expensive Huawei flagship phone.
Today, the company released pretty much all the specs we’ll be finding on the Meiigoo Mate10, so we can have a detailed comparison with Huawei’s counterpart.

Based on the data above, we see that both phones seem to have some similarities, such as the dual rear camera setup, amount of RAM and storage, and – according to renders – a curved glass back cover. Obviously the Meiigoo Mate10 is not trying to fully compete with the sheer processing power of the Huawei Mate10, but rather bringing a cheaper yet still fairly powerful alternative.
Other than the CPU, another big difference is the price. The Huawei Mate10 does indeed sell for almost $825, meanwhile the Meiigoo Mate10 will costs around a third of that with a price tag of $239.99. Launch and presale dates are yet to be revealed, if interested, you can check out the company’s official website to learn more.
