Xiaomi has already launched four models for its Redmi 5 line. First, it released the Xiaomi Redmi 5A, an entry-level smartphone made to repeat the Xiaomi Redmi 4A’s success. A couple of months later, it came in with two full-screen phones in face of the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus. And there is also the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A. So to complete the list the manufacturer should launch the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 as well. The latter has been rumored and leaked in various photos and documents too much. And the latest leak seems to be a confirmation of all those features.

The annual flagship of the company is going to launch in March. The Xiaomi Mi 7 will be announced in late February at MWC 2018 along with other Snapdragon 845-powered models such as the Samsung Galaxy S9. But before that, we are going to see another phone from this manufacturer. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is rumored to hit the market next month. Moreover, it’s already reported to have gone into mass production.
This time, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has been leaked on a radio emission approval documents with codenames of MEE7S and MET7S. These should be the unlocked and specific-carrier models of the upcoming phone. Our assumptions are based on a previous experience when the Xiaomi Redmi 5 was codenamed MEE7.
Anyway, the phone is rumored to come with a 5.99-inch full-screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio, Snapdragon 636 chip clocked at 1.8GHz, built-in Adreno 509 GPU, built-in 4100mAh battery supporting 18W fast charge, MIUI9, 16+ 5MP rear camera, and 8MP front shooter. There should be two variants. The 3+32GB is said to cost 1499 yuan ($268), while the 4+64GB model is rumored to go on sale at 1799 yuan ($284).
