Flyme 6 Stable Spring Edition Announced


Meizu has officially announced the stable version of Flyme 6 Spring Edition, which will be hitting over 34 devices running Android Lollipop, Marshmallow and Nougat. The release brings with it performance improvements and a few new features depending upon the Android version.

Flyme 6 comes with a lot of optimisations. According to the officials, the OS has been greatly optimised in terms of process handling, memory management, processor management to provide the users with a seamless and stable experience. Meizu has also added a dedicated gaming mode to improve the gaming performance.

The features that will be pushed to the smartphones will depend on the version of Android they are running. Phones running Nougat such as the Pro 7 series will experience an overall system optimization, power management optimization and a quick application function.

The devices running Marshmallow and Lollipop will receive quick application function, quick application avatar 2.0 and support for Meizu Pay. Also, the Meizu X and E2 which were manufactured under the Blue Charm label will receive the quick application feature along with support for Meizu Pay and a dedicated Game Mode.

The update will be covering new and old phones that include the Meizu MX4, MX4 Pro, MX5, MX6, PRO 5, PRO 6, PRO 6S, PRO 6 Plus, PRO 7, PRO 7 Plus, M1 Note, M2 Note, M3 Note, M5 Note, M2, M3, M3S, M5S, M1 Metal, Meizu X, Meizu E2, MX, M3 Max, U10 and U20.
