The MWC 2018 start date is getting closer. But we already know almost everything concerning the upcoming flagships. The Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and its regular variant are in the spotlight. These handsets have been leaked on myriads of photos and documents. We have heard tons of rumors and news referring to their design, hardware, and software. But until today, we have no imagination what similarities and differences are there on the Galaxy S9+ in comparison to the current model. Today, the factory CAD drawings of Samsung’s new flagship Galaxy S9 Plus spotted showing the real differences made on it.
Actually, the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus still uses the same design elements seen on the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. But there were made some adjustments in the details. Among them, the S9 Plus is narrower. The forehead has been narrowed slightly. The border reduction is more obvious. Due to the new camera module, the S9 Plus’ body is way thicker than the S8 Plus. But both sides are remaining almost the same.
As for the dimensions, the Samsung Galaxy S9 comes with 147.6 x 68.7 x 8.4mm, while the S8 came with 148.9 x 68.1 x 8mm. plus, the S9+ comes with 157.7 x 73.8 x 8.5mm in comparison to the S8+, which came with 159.5 x 73.4 x 8.1mm.

The rest of features of the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ include a 3000mAh and 3500mAh batteries, 5.8-inch Super AMOLED screen (2960×1440 and aspect ratio of 18.5:9) and 6.2-inch screen, Snapdragon 845 chip (Adreno 630 GPU), 4+64GB and 6GB memory options, 12MP single-camera and a 2x12MP dual-camera on the back supporting f/1.5/f2.4 variable aperture and OIS, an 8MP front camera, and Android 8.0 out of the box.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are said to go on sale on March 6 with a starting price of $950.
