Here we are again, Samsung has confirmed the existence and details of its much expected 2018 flagship smartphone, dubbed the Galaxy S9.
A support page for the Galaxy S9+ has appeared on Samsung’s Finland website, confirming the model number of the device which is set to be unveiled in about 3 weeks time. The support page is for a product number SM-G965F/DS, a number that has long been confirmed to be the Galaxy S9+ in which the F stands for the International model while the DS for dual SIM. So by inference, the hybrid Dual SIM variant of the Galaxy S9+ will be sold in Finland.
Aside from the model number, the support page does not contain any details, but we already know virtually everything about the upcoming Galaxy S9 duo.
Just recently, thee alleged batteries of the Galaxy S9 and S9 plus listed by Union Repair revealed that the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ batteries will be pegged at 3,000 mAh and 3,500 mAh respectively. This follows the certification issued by the regulatory agency from Brazil that shows the approval of the new pair of batteries that will be present in both handsets. Interestingly, Samsung’s current flagship – the Galaxy S8 and S8+ have their battery capacities as 3,000 mAh and 3,500 mAh respectively.
