Again, leaked Xiaomi Mi 6X cases confirms vertical camera setup

In the absence of a flagship device, we expect Xiaomi to announce some other products including the much-rumored Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s and the Mi 6X at an event shortly before the MWC or at its MWC press briefing.We have seen quite a lot of leaks, including pictures and possible specifications of both devices, so the phones won’t come up as much of a surprise if they become a reality.

Just recently, we spotted a leaked image of the alleged Xiaomi Mi 6x in a gold color revealing the front and the back. What is immediately noticeable in the leaked image is the vertical dual camera setup that resembles the one on the recently launched iPhone X.

Now, we have a new leak of the cases for the Xiaomi Mi 6x courtesy of Onphones. The shots of the leaked cases as you can see below were taken by a Weibo user from a retail store in China using a Xiaomi Mi Note 3. The poster we are told allegedly found a large stock of the Mi 6X cases in a retailer store in the process of purchasing a Mi Note 3 case for his personal use.

The leaked images of the Mi 6X is quite revealing as it matches all leaked images of the devices. It has a vertical cutout at the left upper hand corner, which is supposed to be for the dual rear camera, while another circular cut out is seen beside it supposedly meant for the rear fingerprint sensor.

On a careful look at the leaked cases, you will notice what appears to be the headphone jack at the top, while what is supposed to be the USB port is seen down the cases.

For everyone that needs a refresher, the Xiaomi Mi 6X may be launched in some markets as the MI A2, and much like the Mi 5X, the device is expected to offer great specs at very affordable prices. Xiaomi has not revealed anything about the Mi 6X but we hope to see more in the coming days.
