Gizchina News of the week
This will obviously be a phased rollout beginning with Europe. Henceforth, Galaxy S8/S8 Plus users in Europe should start getting OTAs in the next day or so. This will be followed by other regions across the globe in the coming weeks.
As for the update itself, Samsung brings a new version of Experience UI to its current flagships. It has a host of its own tweaks and some from Android Oreo itself. Those include notification channels, notification dots, autofill API, Picture-in-Picture mode and a lot more.
Those who update should also find their smartphone performance get renewed with a lot of under the hood changes.
