Gizchina News of the week

The video teaser focuses mainly on the display which is confirmed to have an aspect ratio of 18:9. Narrower bezels equal wider perspective and a high PPI count equals better color reproduction. It claims that the Redmi Note 5 will be an all-rounder. The Note 5 will be a mid ranger with specs similar to that of the Redmi 5 Plus.

If that is the case, the specs should be similar of not the same as the 5 Plus. The Redmi 5 Plus sports a full screen display coupled with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. On the memory front, it sports 4GB of Ramand 64GB of ROM. A 4000mAh battery powers the phone and it runs Miui9 on top of Android Nougat. The launch of the Redmi Note 5 is just two days away. There is no word on the price and availability, but it is expected to go on sale in a couple of hours after the launch on the 14th of February.

i dont know where people keep getting the Note 5 bit from, not one bit of advertising even hints at it being a Note 5, it points further towards the redmi 5 & 5 Plus rather than anything else
