Xiaomi is set to launch the Redmi Note 5 tomorrow. Buzz around the hugely popular Redmi Note series is high in India as the company prepares for an introduction of the 5th generation of the series. However, a lot of confusion has been brewing surrounding the variants. The latest reports suggested there will be a Redmi Note 5 Pro variant that will be revealed alongside the Redmi Note 5. And there is. Take a look below.
We’re giving you a first look at the official renders and spec sheet of both the Redmi Note 5 Pro & the Redmi Note 5. Most of our attention is centred around the Pro variant. The standard Note 5 seems to be just a renamed Redmi 5 Plus. These official renders are the real deal as they come a day ahead of launch.

It looks globally great, especially the pro design. However in 2018 micro USB + 10 W charging power, even on the “pro” version, should be inadvisable !
I had to change at least three times the bottom board on my Redmi note 3 because it doesnt keep correctly the cable….
time to nuke xiaomi, fuckers STILL have micro usb for their fucking phones !
not buying this year’s redmi notes … probably might take a look at redmi note 6 next year
go buy other brand. Dont expect too much. Cant u see improved soc, camera, display? What more FCK u want ??? stud insane
how can you be so blind to not notice that wtf are xiaomi trying to achieve with this niggard, thrifty, and pinch penny approach !
they are being straight up ungenerous and misers !
the rewarding feature set was what used to be the highlight of the Redmi Note series ! now they are just being cheapskates ! they are trying to keep as much to themselves as possible so we have to invest in their stupidly designed and HORRIBLY priced higher end phones !
the display is just a trend, everyone’s doing FHD+ so why not xiaomi. the SoC … well, they OVERUSED the SD 625 for so long, an improvement was always in order !
their cameras are more or less the same ! this dual cam is a GIMMICK ! the secondary 5mp camera will NOT make this a true dual cam setup, it’s just a software trick, nothing more !
type C is the new standard and it should have been implemented in this variant !
your phone won’t charge as fast and data transfer speeds won’t be optimal with the ageing micro USB 2.0 standard !
KNOW STUFF BEFORE SPEAKING LIKE A BLIND FOOL !
