We’re guessing by now you already know that Huawei is preparing to unleash a couple of its Mediapad tablets: the Mediapad M5 (8.4-inch and 10.1-inch model). Details of the Mediapad M5 already been leaked, now the latest leaked details about the upcoming tablets courtesy of tipster Roland Quandt @ rquandt reveals the Huawei Mediapad M5 pricing in the EU as well as more variant of the upcoming tablet.
According to the tipster, the 8″ Huawei Mediapad M5 codenamed schubert will come with 4GB RAM, 32GB storage and will retail at 328 EUR for Wi-Fi only variant while the LTE variant will go for as much as 380 EUR. Notably, the larger sibling MediaPad M5 with 10″ display is said to be codenamed “Cameron” and will reportedly come with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage at retail prices of 379 EUR for the Wi=Fi only variant and 420 EUR for the LTE model.

Further, the tipster also revealed that there exists a Huawei Mediapad M5 Pro with the codename “Cameron pro”. The pro variant is said to come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Its major highlight will be its support for M-Pen stylus.The Huawei Mediapad M5 pro will come only in LTE model and will sell for as much as 520 EUR. There is, however, no mention of its display size, we assume it will come with a 10” display.
The Mediapad M5 is expected to come with 2560 × 1600 pixels resolution, Kirin 960 chip, 4980mAh battery, and Android 8.0 pre-installed.
nothing has been officially confirmed at the moment, but it is generally believed that the tablets will be unveiled at MWC 2018 in late February.

Yes, that was a real pity. It isn’t even like their newer 970 is that terribly new either.
Unfortunately the pricing doesn’t really match the spec. :/
Still it will become the only decent 16:10 ~8″ tablet out there.
