Alcatel has today announced the availability of a new affordable tablet dubbed the Alcatel POP4 4G alongside the Wi-Fi only version of the Alcatel A310 tablet. While the Alcatel A3 10 Wi-Fi tablet is the Wi-fi only variant of last year’s Alcatel A3 10, the POP4 4G is a brand new device altogether.They both come as affordable Android tablets, but they, unfortunately, boot outdated Android OS out of the box.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop powered Wi-Fi only Alcatel A3 10 as the name suggests flaunts a 10.1-inch display with 1,280 x 800 pixels resolution and powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8127 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, expandable via a microSD card up to 32GB. The device comes fitted with a 5MP rear camera while a 2MP sensor sits above the display. Light is supplied by a 4,600mAh battery, while it supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS and USB OTG connectivity options.

The Alcatel POP4 4G, on the other hand, highlights a 5,830mAh battery, dual front-facing speakers with Waves Maxx audio support, but unfortunately, boot Android 6 Marshmallow out of the box.
On the display front, the Alcatel POP4 4G flaunts a 10.1-inch full HD fully laminated display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution and is powered by powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 502 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The device comes with just 16GB of storage, but it can be expanded up to 32GB using microSD card. Other notable specs include an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 4G LTE connectivity, single SIM support, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS and Wi-Fi direct.
The POP4 4G is immediately available in black hue color via Flipkart at Rs 10,999 inclusive of a free keyboard jack, while the Wi-fi only Alcatel A3 10 goes for Rs 6,999 via Flipkart.
