Everybody and their dog know about the latest Elephone U & Elephone U Pro released a couple days back. The two phones sport very sleek designs and quite good hardware as well as some neat software features. Let’s check out the video below!
As we can see in the video, both the Elephone U and Elephone U Pro feature what we could call “Edge Lighting” – something that Samsung pioneered on their flagships.
The Edge Lighting works when calls are received and changes according to the ringtone you’re using.
This feature is really useful when you’re in a meeting and you want to place your phone face down to hide personal info, or for any other reason.
Gizchina News of the week
Quickly recapping the hardware on both devices; we have the Elephone U coming with a Mediatek MT6763T octa-core CPU, 6GB of RAM and a whopping 128GB of internal storage. We also find a dual 13MP rear camera combo, 15W quick charging and Face Unlock.
Meanwhile the higher end Elephone U Pro instead features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor along with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Other features remain unchanged, exception made for the added wireless charging capability.
