Gizchina News of the week
Apparently. this is about to change. According to a Screenshot leaked through AnTuTu database, the Taiwanese manufacturer has a flagship device codenamed as Asus Z01RD. The handset sports the latest Snapdragon 845 paired with Adreno 630 GPU. The multi-tasking power is ensured by 6GB of RAM, while the files capacity is defined by 64GB of Storage.
The Z01RD comes running Android 8.0.0 out the box, which also confirms that this will be a Treble-compliant device. While the screen size wasn’t revealed, we know that the handset will have a panel with 2246x1080p pixels, which may result in an 18:5:9 aspect ratio, just like Samsung and some other OEMs are using.
Lastly, but not least, the handset breaks the AnTuTu 200,000 points barrier with exact 238,129 points. There is no word or confirmation if this handset will be part of the Asus Zenfone 5 series or if it will be a separated device from a different flagship series. Asus is preparing an event for MWC 2018, so stay tuned for more details about its smartphones and possibly about this new flagship smartphone.
