We all have been waiting for a sequel to the Xiaomi Mi Band 2, which had a great price to performance ratio. The Mi Band 3 has been elusive for almost a year now, with random reports and leaks, with no solid news. But it seems like it is definitely coming soon since it has received Bluetooth Certification.

Gizchina News of the week
The certification does not reveal a lot about the specs or the design of the Band 3 but does confirm its existence. XMSH05HM is the model number of the Mi Band 3 and it has Bluetooth 4.2. It will be manufactured under the Anhui Huami Information Technology Co., Ltd. aka Huami. Even though the listing does not reveal a lot about the specs except the Bluetooth version which is 4.2, I expect it to land with the usual suite of features that include a heart rate sensor, pedometer, calorie counter and a cherry on the cake would be the presence of GPS.
There is no word by Xiaomi or Huami regarding the existence of the Band 3, let alone the specs or the design. But since Xiaomi is going to present its upcoming products at the MWC 2018 for the first time, we can expect to see an announcement regarding the Mi Band 3. Watch this space for more!
