Huawei’s annual flagship of 2017 was the P10. So it’s been expected the continuation of this handset will be the Huawei P11. Later, we got rumors it will be called the P20. But nothing officially was announced. Today, the Chinese tech giant published a video confirming its next-level top-notch smartphone will be called the Huawei P20 and it will come with mooore AI.

As we know, the company skips the MWC 2018 not to be overshadowed by the Samsung Galaxy S9. It will hold an independent conference on March 27 in Paris, France. But the company misses MWC only for this smartphone. It is going to launch the MediaPad M5 and new laptops at the event in Barcelona, Spain.

As for the upcoming Huawei P20, this superior phone is going to integrate a face recognition system named Point Cloud Depth Camera. Apart from this, there will be a 5.7-inch full-screen identical to the iPhone X’s bangs screen. On the top, it will carry some sensors and a camera supporting the facial recognition as well as Animoji (animated facial expressions). Thus this handset is going to compete with the iPhone X directly. The rest of features are said to include a Kirin 970 chip, 6GB of RAM, front-mounted fingerprint scanner, a tri-camera module on the back with Leica optics

We are almost sure there will be two other models dubbed as the Huawei P20 Plus and Huawei P20 Lite. The Plus variant will come with a 6-inch screen, and it should be using an under-display fingerprint identification. The battery capacity of the original model will be 3320mAh, while the Plus variant will come with a 4000mAh battery.

At last, the Huawei P20 Lite should come with less attractive features. And maybe it won’t be launched at the March conference.
