After a long wait of almost three months, LineageOS 15.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo is finally out. Of course, this is great news as LineageOS is one of the highest used custom ROMs being the spiritual successor of CyanogenMod. The new version that was teased in December currently doesn’t support many devices but we’re likely to see additions soon. Currently, many devices are not eligible for the new version due to lack of support for a working HAL1 camera recorder. But we’re told that they’re working on it.
LineageOS 15.1 comes with some great new features apart from the already neat ones tucked in Android 8.1. Of course, this is not the complete list.For a full run-down of features watch this video below.
