The news of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ has taken the tech world by storm. Surprisingly, the newest flagships are priced cheaper than their predecessors at launch. The S9 and S9+ will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon in Canada, which is the case for US too. They will be available in two colour variants, Titanium Gray and Lilac Purple.

The S9 is available for CAD959.99 and the S9+ is available for CAD1099.99 from Best Buy or Samsung’s online store. Trade-in your old Samsung smartphone at a Samsung store before April 8 and you can get a minimum of CAD100 off in addition to the trade-in value.

Rogers is offering the S9 for CAD249 on a two year Premium+ Tab plan and the S9+ for CAD379 on the same plan. You can choose to select monthly payments ranging from CAD87 to CAD130 depending upon data and province. You can also choose to pay more upfront resulting in cheaper monthly plans. There’s a CAD150 off if you trade-in a qualifying phone. Also, Rogers is throwing in a free wireless charger if you get the phone with a plan.
Fido is selling the S9 unlocked at CAD999 and the S9+ at CAD1129. On a Large plan, the S9 will set you back by CAD449 upfront and the S9+ by CAD579, both on a two year agreement. Opt for a cheaper, Medium or Small plan and you end up paying more upfront, up to CAD669 for the S9 and CAD799 for the S9+. Trade-in an old phone before April 9 and get CAD150 off your purchase.
