Motorola Razr phones were some of the most loved and sought after phones. With thin designs and stellar looks, the Razr phones took the market by storm. At the Mobile World Congress 2018, Yang Yuanqing, CEO, Motorola, said that a Razr lineup may be developed very soon. He also hinted at the development of foldable phones, since the form factor is gaining popularity with brands like Samsung working on it.
Gizchina News of the week
Nokia too is taking a pages out of old books and bringing to table phones like the 3110, and the newly announced 8110 aka Banana phone. All these phone were huge successes for Nokia back in the day. And bringing them back with revamped features seems like a good idea. Maybe Motorola too feels the same way and wants to resurrect their Razr line of phones. With the Razr being the icon of style and substance back in 2004, it makes sense for Motorola to introduce the Razr lineup again. Personally a fan, I would love to see a Razr phone featuring Android in the flip form factor. You have to admit, there’s a really cool feeling to using flip phones. The RAZR phones were legendary, it would actually be nice to see a modern take on them by Motorola. I’m just hoping they won’t end up being feature phones with a P2K-like system.
I hereby vote for Motorola to resurrect the RAZRvX… with an up-to-date OS and long battery life! Motorola Engineers: Give this a few minutes of your time….see where it goes!!! I shall be waiting…..
