LG Electronics back in January introduced the LG X4+ without announcing the base LG x4, the company has today via its Social blog announced the availability of a new member of the LG X series and a toned down version of the LG X4+. The new device dubbed the LG X4 is virtually the same as the X4+, but for a few variation in the internals. Gone is the MIL-STD-810G rating which was the highlight of the X4+, the LG X4 major highlight is its HD DMB support for mobile TV experience.
It retains the 5.3-inch display with a 720p resolution and a standard 16:9 aspect ratio and similarly powered by the Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM, but with a reduced 32GB of onboard storage.
