The Vivo Apex was showcased at the Mobile World Congress 2018 and has now been officially launched. It has a staggering 98% screen-to-body ratio making it a truly bezel-less smartphone. Not just this, it comes with the under display fingerprint scanner and a pop-up front camera.
The Apex has the highest screen-to-body ratio of 98%. Even with the pop-up camera which is another highlight of the phone, the smartphone is merely 7.8mm thick. The camera takes just 0.8 seconds to pop out. It is made of glass with a glossy back and the fingerprint scanner lies under the screen.

It sports a 5.99-inch OLED display with COF technology. The ambient and proximity sensors, along with the earpiece and loudspeaker are placed under the screen thus helping Vivo achieve the seamless screen experience. On the back sits a vertically aligned dual camera setup. The Vivo Apex also come with HiFi Audio with three amplifiers and a dedicated DAC. Vivo has achieved this through the System In Package(SIP) technology. The camera is where the phone shines on paper. It has various modes and is supported by AI. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.
Vivo has not revealed any other specs as of yet. The phone is expected to go into mass production by mid 2018.

depends on the SOC. Vivo might go with Mediatek’s new processor or Qualcomm 660 or 670. I doubt you will see a Snapdragon 845. They save that for OnePlus
