VIVO X21 Launch Date And Some Details Revealed

VIVO X21

VIVO is on the top along with Huawei, OPPO, and Xiaomi. So it should do its best to keep this authority. Last year, when it launched its much-talked VIVO X20 and its higher variant, many understood this company is going to grab all the prizes. Everything became even better for this manufacturer with the launch of the world’s first under-display smartphone, the VIVO X20 Plus UD. This technology allows the company to come in with handsets that sport screens with way higher screen ratio. Moreover, as the iPhone X’s bangs screen is a mainstream, there is every reason to think the next-gen VIVO flagship will be using it. As you guess, we are not talking naively. Today we learned the forthcoming premium handset named the VIVO X21 will launch on March 19 at a special conference.

Seems March will be even more interesting than January and February. Though the Samsung Galaxy S9 was launched in February, multiple flagships coming our way from Chinese top brands will make their way this month. We have already learned the Huawei P20 will be unveiled on March 27. The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S will hit the market in coming days. The OPPO R15 should be uncovered on March 31. So the VIVO X21’s launch date is quite reasonable.

The same source that disclosed the release date of this awesome handset also added there will be four variants of the VIVO X21. Apart from the latter, there will be the VIVO X21A, VIVO X21 UD, and VIVO X21A UD (or X21 UD A). Not that much is known about these handsets, but they should come with a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED full-screen with a narrowed chin and forehead identical to the iPhone X. Plus, they will support an 18W fast charging. Like the iPhone X, they will be using a vertical layout for the dual-camera module. Under the hood, the VIVO X21 and its variants will sport a Snapdragon 670/700 chip, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of ROM, and Funtouch OS based on Android 8.0.
