New iPhone With A Comprehensive Screen To Launch In 2019

iPhone X

There are a few types of full screens. Xiaomi is using the tri-bezel-less screens on its Mi MIX series. This term means there are no borders on three edges, and there is only a chin carrying some sensors. Huawei is more tend to use a borderless screen with narrowed forehead and chin. It even places a home button on the latter. Finally, the iPhone X was the first to come in with a bangs screen. The latter means it has a special part on the upper part of the display that carries all the sensors. But all manufacturers are obsessed with designing a real full-screen that occupies the whole front panel. Seems, Apple will be among the first smartphone makers to come in with such an idea. And it’s reported this may happen in 2019.

According to some insiders, Apple is planning to improve the current screen design and design a real full-screen iPhone. So we can say while many second-tier smartphone vendors are adopting the current screen technology, Apple is going to change it completely.

Gizchina News of the week

The new display will be using OLED screens. As the source claims, ‘Apple has decided to get rid of the bangs screen and it is in negotiations with some suppliers.’ Unfortunately, the display size, resolution, and other parameters are not known yet, but we deeply believe it will have a rectangular shape and will completely occupy the front panel.

However, this means Apple should come in with a few innovations. As we know, Apple is going to continue bringing improvements to its Face ID technology and will use it in coming models. Thus the camera sensor will be placed on the front. At this moment, it’s a real headache for the manufacturers. That’s why many think Apple will either drill the display or invent a new touchscreen.

One way or another, Apple has always had the vision to create an iPhone with a comprehensive full-screen. And seems its launch is planned to be in 2019.
