Entry level UMIDIGI A1 should be the first with MT6739 and Android 8.1

UMIDIGI A1

Today we have a photo leak with some information about the upcoming UMIDIGI A1 model from the Weibo social network. The phone should be an entry level one, but judging by the picture it should be running a stock Android 8.1 Oreo system and if you look carefully you can even see two 4G signal icons working simultaneously.

Gizchina News of the week

From the available information it seems the UMIDIGI A1 will be equipped with the brand new budget MT6739 processor paired with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Display size should be 5,5-inch with 18:9 aspect ratio crammed into a 5-inch body. According to the UMIDIGI’s recent expansion plans it’s expected  that the phone will be supporting global LTE bands and you can add to the list of equipment also USB Type-C port and 5V/2A quick charge. And that’s more or less everything we know about its hardware specs for now.

Reliable sources are putting the expected price for the UMIDIGI A1 under the $100 mark, which looks quite good all things considered. It could be possibly one of the very good choices in the budget segment of the market. What do you think ?
